Spring 2010 Classes:
The spring season is nearly upon us and with that means gardening! The upcoming session of yoga classes will include an emphasis on yoga postures that focus on shoulders and hips, abdominal strengthening to support your back, and breathwork to maintain high energy levels. Another name of savasan is paryamkasan, which means "lying in the lap of Mother Earth". This is a wonderful way to practice and very grounding!
My intention for this session is to give you tools for your home practice, known as 'sadhana' in Sanskrit.
There is a hope of finding something. One doesn't proceed in darkness, but takes a lighted candle, which is sadhana. The more you step forward, the more the path appears in the light of the candle.
