Tools:
Computer: Power
Macintosh G5 running Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
My business has always has
been Apple based and my fifth computer is a Power
Mac G5. I have ran Mac OS X since it was a public beta; it is
updated regularly and continues to improve.
Web
Application: Adobe GoLive
I find Adobe GoLive more intuitive and elegant than
Macromedia
Dreamweaver,
its main competitor. Now that Adobe and Macromedia have
merged perhaps we can hope for one programme which
combines the best of both.
Web
Application: RapidWeaver
RapidWeaver a tremendously easy to use programme
that allows you to create a website from a template. As
the HTML is alterable there is more flexibility here
than you might think and this application allows you to
create professional looking websites very
quickly.

Creation: Stone Studio
The Stone Studio was built for the NEXT OS, the
forerunner to Mac OS X. Its centerpiece is
Create, an innovative vector based
programme, and the studio also contains several
supporting and related applications. The service and
support this company provides is extraordinairy... if
you e-mail them a question, the head programmer will
often reply within minutes. The studio is updated
regularly and once you purchase the software, those
updates are free for life.
Graphic
Editing: Adobe Photoshop Elements
Adobe Photoshop Elements
is a real bargain and more
than adequate for web work.
Flash:
Adobe LiveMotion
Sadly Adobe has now
discontinued LiveMotion and left the market to
Macromedia Flash. I will probably have to make the
jump eventually, but so far LiveMotion has handled
everything I've needed to do.
